Imagine finding a little piece of treasure hidden in a ark or on the sidewalk. That is exactly what Kindness Rocks is all about!
It is a giant game of hide-and-seek where the goal is to make people smile.

How it Works: Kids and grown-ups take smooth stones and paint them with bright colors, pretty pictures, kind words, or whatever you like! Tuck your rock in a public place around the city, like BREC parks, libraries, or downtown.

When someone else finds a rock, it’s like a little hug from a stranger!

When you find one, you have two choices:

• Keep it and take it home to keep the message with you!

• Re-hide it to leave a surprise for someone else!

The main idea is that one message at the right time can change someone’s entire day. It’s a way for us to show the people of Baton Rouge that we are friendly, creative, and care about each other.
